With over 40 years of dedicated healthcare experience, Tammy Nixon is the heart of our clinic operations at Bee Well Family Healthcare. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Eufaula Hospital and went on to help grow other organizations, steadily advancing through roles as a scheduling clerk, referral coordinator, and ultimately managing administrative operations for a large health system. Tammy played a pivotal role in launching Bee Well Family Healthcare on July 6, 2023, and has since overseen every aspect of our practice from scheduling, registration, billing, payroll, medical records, and so much more. Known for her exceptional multitasking abilities and outstanding customer service, Tammy brings warmth, efficiency, and expertise to our team and every patient interaction.

With over 25 years of diverse experience in the medical field, Amy Johnston brings exceptional skill, adaptability, and compassion to her role as Clinical Assistant at Bee Well Family Healthcare. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of healthcare settings, including as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home, home health aide, hospice caregiver, unit clerk on a medical-surgical floor, and private care aide.

Amy’s extensive background gives her a unique perspective on patient needs and the ability to provide care that is both clinically sound and deeply empathetic. She is passionate about supporting patients through every stage of life, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and understood. Her dedication to quality care and teamwork makes her an essential part of the Bee Well family.

Matthew is a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with over seven years of experience across multiple medical specialties, including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), and family medicine. With a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, Matthew combines a deep understanding of human physiology with hands-on patient care, ensuring every patient receives comprehensive, informed, and compassionate treatment.

Known for his strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach, Matthew excels at explaining complex medical concepts in a way that empowers individuals to take control of their health. His passion for medicine and commitment to lifelong learning have driven his success, leading to his acceptance into Northeastern State University’s Physician Assistant Program, Class of 2027, which is a milestone our clinic proudly celebrates.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Matthew serves as the clinic’s network administrator and IT technician, overseeing our systems and ensuring seamless integration of digital workflows. Beginning in October 2025, he will also step into a new role as a Remote Support Specialist, providing after-hours patient care by making follow-up calls, relaying results and updates, placing orders, and assisting with prior authorizations for medications.
