🚨 Important Announcement 🚨 Regarding Compounded GLP-1 Medications

The FDA is providing ongoing updates regarding the court ruling on compounded GLP-1 medications, and we want to keep our patients informed. Effective today, March 19, 2025, Bee Well Family Healthcare will no longer accept new compounding orders for Tirzepatide (generic for Mounjaro/Zepbound).

We can still obtain compounded Semaglutide (generic for Ozempic/Wegovy) through select pharmacies until April 22, 2025—but this is subject to change as new updates emerge.

Compounded Tirzepatide (generic Mounjaro/Zepbound) is no longer available.

For those seeking alternatives, Eli Lilly Direct is now offering cash-pay pricing for Zepbound via mail order, with prices starting at $349/month up to $599/month. We understand this situation is frustrating for our weight loss patients and the community.

Please know that Bee Well Family Healthcare remains committed to supporting you on your weight loss journey. We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.

Unfortunately, this is out of our hands, but we will do our best to help you navigate the changes. If you have any questions or need guidance, please contact our office. We’re here for you!

We carry Semaglutide, a generic, compounded form made in a 503B United States pharmacy. This medication is delivered to your body in weekly subcutaneous injections done in our office by our staff. Common sites for subcutaneous injection include the upper arm, thigh, or stomach. GLP-1 peptides suppress hunger, slow down the emptying of the stomach to induce a feeling of fullness faster and for longer periods, regulate insulin release, and enhance glucagon storage. The combined action of these compounds leads to significant reductions in A1C levels, enhanced weight loss, improvements in cardiometabolic parameters, and decreased appetite.

***Please note: We will continue to offer compounded Semaglutide through select pharmacies until April 22, 2025, but availability is subject to change based on evolving FDA regulations.***

Skinny Shots

Skinny shots, also known as lipomino injections are a combination of B vitamins, amino acids, and lipotropic nutrients that help to speed up your metabolism, boost your energy levels, and help burn fat.

The Science Behind It:

Lipotropic nutrients are a class of natural ingredients that play an important role in the body's use of fat. These compounds enhance the liver and gallbladder's role by decreasing fat deposits and speeding up metabolism of fat and its removal. Our formula of lipotropics has been formulated to enhance your current weight loss efforts i.e. following a healthy diet plan, staying well hydrated, and exercising. The amino acids used to make these shots are: B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, MIC, L-Carnitine, and Chromium.

Methionine (M) – An amino acid; acts to prevent excess fat build-up in the liver and the body. It is helpful in relieving or preventing fatigue and may have action in the anti-inflammatory process by reducing histamine release.

Inositol (I) – A nutrient belonging to the B vitamin complex: closely associated with choline. It aids in the metabolism of fats and helps reduce blood cholesterol. Inositol participates in the action of serotonin, a
neurotransmitter known to control mood and appetite.

Choline (C) – Supports the health of the liver by processing and excreting chemical waste products within the body. In addition, it facilitates fat absorption by the cells. It is essential for the health of kidneys and liver.

B12 – An essential vitamin that helps form new healthy cells in the body. It acts as an energy booster, helping increase activity level, improve sleep patterns, and provide relief from allergies and stress.

L-Carnitine – An amino acid that is naturally produced in the body as a primary building block for protein. It helps your body to produce
energy, carries fat into the cells so it can be burned as fuel, and assists in the reduction of belly fat.

Chromium – A metal that is helpful in building muscle, in burning fat, and in facilitating the body’s use of carbohydrates.
